One Step Closer to Fame

MTeriors was featured in the City Edition of the Limerick Leader today! Here's the article for anyone who didn't get a chance to see it:

By ANNE SHERIDAN
WE have the
Limerick Blogger for local news, Style Treaty for glamour tips and now a blogger site to revamp our homes has just been launched especially for the Limerick market.

The twenty-four year old creator of the interior design site,
Mary T. Martin, told the Limerick Leader, the property and development boom across Limerick city and county was one reason
she felt the urge to create the blog.“Limerick has seen a huge boom in building developments in recent years and with so many great soft furnishing stores like Instore, Debenham’s, B&Q now located in Limerick I thought the blog would be a good way to give people ideas on what they can find and where,” explained the Kilmallock resident.

Ms Martin clearly has identified a huge niche in the area, as the site is already receiving about 80 hits a day, even though it was established less than a month ago.The rapid success of the
blog is a good indicator that it will be the first port of call for those looking for new design ranges by potter Louis Mulcahy and designer Paul Costello, among others.

“There is a market for the
MTeriors blog in Limerick; so many people building or re-decorating house at the moment. I think that some down-to-earth advice on affordable tips & tricks could really help people who aren’t so sure about the world of interior design,” said Ms Martin, who by day works as an administrative secretary at the University of Limerick. Now that she has set up her own interior design consultancy MTeriors, those interesting in redesigning their home or who want a few simple tips, can log on to www.mteriors.blogspot.com.

She also provides handy tips on where to find all the best household furniture and accessories, from lighting to tableware and also includes links to other useful design sites. “I’ve always had an interest in Interior Design but I qualified as an Interior Designer last year with a diploma (with merit) from Limpert’s Academy of Art & Design. I’m just starting to get up and running with my Interior Design consultancy
MTeriors, this is my maiden year so I’m hoping to make a success of it,” she enthused.

Fellow blogger Marian Roche or “Maz” as she is known to regular visitors to
www.styletreaty.com, encouraged her friend to set up the site and has been also been contributing to this website.
